The Faehl Piano Studio offers high-quality instruction to the lower Bucks County area. Run by a husband and wife duo, we focus on efficient technique as a means of individual growth for the development of artistry. Starting from a classical foundation, our goal is to equip students with the tools they need to branch out in any musical direction they desire.

Alexandra Faehl is a classically trained pianist who actively performs and teaches in the Philadelphia area. Alexandra's passion for music started at a young age when she began piano lessons at the age of five. Since then, she has enjoyed successes as a prize winner of multiple piano competitions. Notable achievements include first prize in the senior division of the New Orleans Piano Institute Solo Competition, second prize (alternate) in the young artist division of the MTNA Piano State Competition, and honorable mention at the New Orleans Piano Institute Concerto Competition. Some of her students' successes include performances in Carnegie Hall and the Academy of Music ballroom, first place in the Crescendo International Music Competition, first place in the Charleston International Competition, first place in the Triumph Music Festival, and gold in the Golden Key Music Festival.

Her recent recital performances featured all Chopin Ballades and all Rachmaninov Etudes-Tableaux Op. 33 and 39. Alexandra earned her Bachelor’s in Piano Performance from West Chester University and was awarded a full scholarship for her studies. She has recently graduated with her Master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy at West Chester University, where she studied with Dr. Igor Resnianski.

Benjamin Faehl has earned an Associate of Arts in Music from Bucks County Community College; as well as a Bachelor of Music in Theory & Composition, a Graduate Certificate in Piano Pedagogy, a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy, and a Master of Music in Piano Performance from West Chester University. His primary teachers include Igor Resnianski, Patricia Powell, and Steven Bresnen. Benjamin has performed concerts with the Baroque ensemble La Fiocco and with the choir & orchestra of Trinity Episcopal Church of Solebury. In addition, he was the accompanist and assistant conductor of Revival Productions’ performance of Handel’s Messiah in 2021, and the church pianist at Hope Presbyterian Church in Garnet Valley, PA for 7 years.
